He shows a great lack of understanding of the extensive world-wide acceptance of English. He also did not address the importance for Americans to learn the proper use of the English language, nor did he address the tragedy that our beautiful language has been supplanted by Ebonics, Jive and other derivatives to the point that many American citizens are unemployable. ...

A home member leader, retired law enforcement officer, with illegal prescription drug usage is well known to the home administrator, and both State Secretary and Undersecretary of Veterans’ Affairs. This home member has been able to steal fellow member’s narcotics with impunity. He has been observed burglarizing fellow member’s rooms with keys and was investigated by home security. The administrator’s response: “insufficient evidence” and “it’s a medical problem.” At least two female members made written and verbal complaints regarding his individual break-ins into their rooms looking for drugs and jumping into their cars threatening them to be quiet about his drug use. ...

Meanwhile, the deluded and incompetent person most respon­sible for the demise of American democracy and the destruction of the American economy--George W. bush--will be coming to the Napa Valley on Thursday, July 17, to attend an exclusive Republican fund raiser at an Up-Valley winery. As I re-cap my experience relating to the American Canyon City Council over the years, one comes away with the feeling that you are an intruder if you ask questions which is the feeling I came away with at the Tuesday, July 15th Council meeting. Even though they spend as recorded an "inordinate amount of time asking questions when staff request money" and take their role "extremely serious", the feeling is that "John Q Public" should do the same, which would preclude asking any questions. The premise is that if you take the time to go to the City web site, request copies of City documents, then all of your questions will be satisfied, and there will be no need to "Bother" an elected official. ...
